Glass for small shops to high-rise developments

Our commercial glass team can efficiently and expertly repair, install or maintain all your shop, office, and business glass, from storefront doors and atriums to the staff shower. We can replace your windows with double glazed panes, and supply and fit any interior or exterior glass system, including balustrades, partitions, and mirrors.

Commercial glass repair

We repair and replace windows and glass doors in all business premises. We can upgrade your glass with single or double glazed panes, and either uPVC or aluminium frames.

Storefront and entry glass

We install storefront glass systems, awnings and canopies, and frameless glass entry doors (auto sliding and hinged varieties), to showcase your business at its best and improve security.  

Glass balustrades

We install frameless, framed and semi-framed glass systems for balustrades, with powder-coated aluminium or polished steel rails to match your design. Glass balustrades provide a safe and attractive way to fence indoor and outdoor pools and balconies, and for railings and stairs in high-use areas.

Switchable or smart glass

Switchable glass has an inner crystal layer that allows you to change the glass from opaque to clear at the flick of a switch. This smart glass system is ideal for managing office privacy.

Commercial interior glass

We customise and install internal glass partition walls and doors for dividing offices, and as a design feature in boardrooms and public areas in commercial buildings. 

Washroom and hospitality

We install frameless glass shower systems for commercial washrooms, as well as splashbacks, mirrors, and custom glass tabletops.

Paynes Glass worked for the Body Corporate of an inner Auckland CBD apartment building in late 2019 to replace the existing aluminum balustrades with a cantilevered frameless glass system, installing into six large balconies.  The job required removal of existing balustrade, steel spigot removal, abseiling for installation and make good to concrete decks.  Following on from this job Paynes Glass have recently provided toughened glass shelving for large designer wardrobes, tinted mirrors for ensuites and replaced glass in large external sliding doors and windows with acoustic glass to provide sound proofing.  All jobs have been expertly executed and well within timeframes required.
